Frequently Asked Questions
Is the R7,500 inclusive of VAT?
No. The fee is R7,500 excluding 15% VAT. The total including VAT is R8,625.
What counts as "reasonable length and complexity"?
A standard commercial agreement of up to approximately 20 pages. Agreements that are significantly longer or involve complex regulatory, IP, or multi-jurisdictional provisions may attract a higher fee, which we will confirm before starting.
Can you also negotiate with the other party?
Yes. Negotiation support can be quoted separately or provided on an hourly basis alongside the review. Many clients find that a thorough review positions them to negotiate more effectively themselves.
How quickly can you turn it around?
Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 working days from receipt of the agreement. Expedited review is available at a premium, subject to availability.
What if the agreement is very long or complex?
We will confirm the fee before starting any work. You will never be charged more than the agreed amount without prior discussion and approval.
Do you review employment contracts?
This service covers commercial agreements between businesses. Employment contracts and HR documentation can be quoted separately.
